Who You'll Be Working With
Working for Avalon Painting can be a rewarding experience. We only hire quality painters so you know you'll be on a crew of professional painters that have a great work ethic and are easy and fun to work with. No attitude, no BS and no drill sergeant crew leaders.
Everyone on the crew is expected to perform well each and every day, so no drug or alcohol abuse is tolerated. You must also be able to demonstrate a reasonable amount of product knowledge and be able to talk with customers and treat customers with respect.
Job Description
General
All painters must be fit, energetic and have a positive attitude. They also must demonstrate knowledge and skills in working with all manner of painting tools and equipment. You must have no fear of heights and be able to use a 40' extension ladder single handedly. Some heavy lifting may be required at times so those with back problems might want to consider this. All employees must have their own transportation and valid drivers license. All painters are required to be safety conscious at all times.Crew Leaders
All crew leaders must have at least 7 years direct experience in the Painting Trade, excellent product and application knowledge and excellent leadership skills. Experience with various lifts, scaffolding, ladders, sprayers and hand tools is also highly recommended. Crew leaders must also have a truck or van with ladder carrying capabilities and storage space for paint and equipment. They must also own and maintain their own personal equipment such as brushes, cages, buckets, spinners, hooks, scraping and sanding tools etc.They also must have the genuine desire to provide top quality results and excellent customer service at all times - and to positively motivate other individuals to do the same.
