Our experience has enabled us to fine tune our estimating procedure which means you don't pay for "guesswork" or get hit with hidden or unexpected costs half way through the project. The price we quote you is all you will ever pay.
Fast Quotes
Most quotes can be completed and in your hands within 48 hours of site inspection but some larger commercial quotes may take longer depending on the scope and timing of your project. We know your time is valuable so we always will do our very best when it comes to your quote, and get you the written estimate as quickly as possible.
Free Estimates
Most of our estimates are done free of charge for you. We will come to your residence or place of business and walk around with you if possible to discuss your needs and learn a little about the history of the building. We will discuss your needs and present options to you depending on those requirements. In some cases we may be able to give you a general idea of the cost right on the spot but generally we will need to carefully consider all the angles before we give you our official written estimate.
Please note that we are not an "estimating service", and as such we do not give free quotes to help you complete a "do-it-yourself" project. We also do not give quotes over the phone. There are many good local specialty and trade specific retail stores that can help you with your home improvement needs if you are a do-it-yourselfer, and we would be happy to provide you with our list of reliable home improvement related retail outlets that can help you in this area.
Estimating outside the St. John's area.
Estimating work done outside the St. John's, Torbay, Flatrock, Pouch Cove areas (depending on location) may be subject to a $25.00 charge (payable at time of estimate) to cover travel expenses. This small fee will be put towards the final price of your project should you decide to hire us to do the job. Please note also that quotes involving travel off the Avalon Peninsula are possibly subject to the ferry schedules and generally require one weeks notice so that we can plan our trip and secure travel and lodging when necessary.
